Edwardian, 18K gold 3.55ct emerald and diamond ring, c.1910

Provenance

Striking is the first word that comes to mind when looking at this stunning Edwardian ring. A vivid rectangular emerald is ensconced in a rich yellow gold bezel and displays intriguing natural internal characteristics, and is framed by a graceful halo of scintillating Old-European cut diamonds. A diamond on either side of the halo complete the substantial shoulders. Beneath the precious gems an open-work gallery allows light to pass through for exceptional sparkle. The diamonds are enveloped in white gold settings that show off their ice-white colour beautifully. A spectacular statement ring for the avid collector and appreciator of heritage pieces!
